Cancer 2024 Horoscope

Cancer Risings this year can experience change, endings, and new beginnings in their 4th House of Home + Family, and 10th House of Career with the Nodes/Eclipses transiting here. This can be a useful time to increase focus on your life path, legacy, sense of purpose and vocation, career, public image, and professional achievements; as well as releasing any blocks in your sense of belonging, rootedness, upbringing, ancestry, private life, home, and family. The Nodes first entered the Aries/Libra axis in July 2023 and return reversed every 9 years, you can read more about this specific transit here.

2024 Cancer Rising Forecast

Cancer Rising’s friendship groups and community may also continue to evolve as you have Uranus, Planet of disruption, still here since 2018 until 2025-2026. Since May 2023 you also had expansive Jupiter here to give you a boost. In May 2024, Jupiter will move on to your 12th House of Shadow giving you access to growth in your spirituality, mental health, solitude, retreat, and any patterns of self-undoing.
Saturn is still in your 9th House of Beliefs + Travel until 2025-2026 (since March 2023) which gives you the opportunity to lay down strong foundations and boundaries in your personal philosophy, education, wisdom, and spirituality. Check to see if you have any sensitive placements (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, AC/DC, or the MC/IC) in Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) for where else Saturn may be placing pressure. This may come as a bolstering influence in relation to nebulous Neptune which has been here since 2012 (and will also leave in 2025-2026), also potentially adding confusion for any Mutable placements you might have.
Lastly, revolutionary Pluto will be leaving your 7th House of Relationships for (almost) the final time in your lifetime. Until the 20th January it can be useful to integrate how this area has changed for you since 2008 and any triggers, projections, and power dynamics that came up (including for any other sensitive placements in Cardinal Signs- Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn). Between September and November it will dip back in to Capricorn and your 7th House of Relationships for one last time before definitively alchemising your 8th House of Shared Resources for the next 20 years or so.

Main 2024 Planetary Placements:

Jupiter in Taurus (11th House of Friendship) -> Gemini (12th House of Shadow): On May 25th, the greater benefic will move into your area of dreams and subconscious for a year.

Saturn in Pisces (your 9th House of Beliefs + Travel): Saturn in the 9th House can allow for constructive discipline and dedication here, but can also feel challenging and restrictive. Finding the balance between firm but flexible worldviews and spirituality can be useful.

Uranus in Taurus (your 11th House of Friendship): Rebellious Uranus may be bringing surprises or change your groups, memberships, alliances, network, community, aspirations, friends, and place in the collective.

Neptune in Pisces (your 9th House of Wisdom): Nebulous Neptune may have been bringing a dissolution of boundaries or confusion to your spirituality, personal philosophy, travel, education, recognition, publishing (if relevant), beliefs, and worldview.

Pluto in Capricorn (7th House of Relationships) -> Aquarius (8th House of Shared Resources): Chthonic Pluto has been dredging up themes from the subterranean here since 2008 (especially for Cardinal placements). On January 20th it will reenter Aquarius, where it had a short stint from March-June 2023, to bring its transmutations to your inheritance, investments, taxes, grants, debts, cycles of life, death, and rebirth, fears, joint ventures, your partner’s money, shared resources, and emotional baggage for the next 20+ years. Between September 1st and November 19th it will retrograde back into Capricorn for the final wrap-up in our lifetimes.

Nodes (+Eclipses) in Aries/Libra (your 10th House of Career/4th House of Home + Family): The Nodes entered the Aries/Libra axis in July 2023, bringing major change, endings, and new beginnings here until January 2025, a transit that occurs every 9/18 years. This can be a useful time for increasing your professional role in the world, taking action in your career, and building a legacy; and releasing any blocks to your sense of belonging or in your home and family.
Mars retrograde in Leo: Mars goes retrograde every 2 years, this year it will do so from December 6th in Leo (your 2nd House of Income) until January 2025 where it will retrograde back into Cancer and station direct here in February. This can bring a need to be mindful of overspending in the first half and pacing yourself for burnout in the second half!
