CORAL GARDENERS

Each Mystic Guidebook Bundle donates 5% of every sale to Coral Gardeners. Coral Gardeners grows and plants resilient corals to restore dying reefs and bring life back to the ocean. They’re all based on Super Corals - corals that have proven to survive rising water temperatures and bleaching events in the ocean, helping to combat their deforestation. I love that you get to pick the coral species!

ONE TREE PLANTED

For every Soul Reading we donate to One Tree Planted. This is an organisation planting indigenous trees all over the world to sustainably help repopulate forests, combating rising CO2 levels and supporting biodiversity (amongst a myriad of other benefits, I don’t think it can be argued that trees are awesome and we can never have too many)! Their interactive map showing the forests lost around the world is particularly eye-opening.

CARBON NEUTRAL

Every year we calculate our total carbon footprint and offset the equivalent to sustainability initiatives around the world. For example, last year our carbon footprint was 8.53 tonnes combined (which is lower than the UK average and target for 2021), and we donated the equivalent amount towards the creation of wind farms in Madhya Pradesh, India.

Although the concept of carbon footprint is hotly debated and, of course, the real onus is on governments and corporations to implement large-scale sustainable change, we feel that this is a small and tangible way to help. It doesn’t substitute the need to buy less, recycle, not use plastics, walk or cycle as much as possible, eat less meat and travel less, as well as getting involved in the climate crisis discourse through signing petitions, writing to MPs, protesting, spreading awareness on social media etc but it can be a useful addition. OTHERS

Regularly throughout the year we also give one-off donations to timely matters that speak to our heart, including but not limited to: Haiti Earthquake Response, Fund Texas Choice, Bali Life Foundation, Women for Women, Sungai Water Watch, and many others over the years.

We are able to do this thanks to YOU beautiful people supporting our work, so thank you for being here with us. We are always open to learning about more awesome initiatives doing awesome things!
