The Meaning of the 11th House in Astrology

The eleventh House represents our friendships, memberships, alliances, groups, networking, hopes and wishes, and some say social media. It is our community and place in the collective, your social life, and the place where Jupiter rejoices.

If you are interested in learning more about your friendships, the first step is to look to the Zodiac Sign in your 11th House and any Planets contained therein, then look to the conditions of the ruling Planet of that Zodiac Sign, and finally you can also look what your Mercury is doing as a general significator for friendships. An Overview Of Eleventh House Astrology

The 11th house in astrology is the house of friendships, groups, community, and your relationship with the collective. This house rules how you interact with strangers, acquaintances, and people with whom you do not share intimate or family relations. How you approach the topic of friendship and how you contribute to and impact your community will be indicated by the 11th house.

If you want to know what kind of friend you are and how you connect with others and the world around you, look at your 11th house sign. Any planets, points, or asteroids in this house may also significantly impact how you identify with others.

The 5th House

Opposite the 11th house on the zodiac wheel is the fifth house, the house of self-fulfilment, creation, and romance. In astrology, the sign and house opposite a sign or house will have opposing qualities. In this case, the 5th house brings romantic relationships, which is different from your casual interactions with those in your community.

The 5th house shows how you express and empower yourself to be heard and recognised. This house puts the attention onto you. The 11th house, on the other hand, represents how you empower others and what you do to change and impact the lives around you, as opposed to your own.

What if your 11th house is empty?

Even if your 11th house is empty in your natal chart, it will not always remain empty. Transiting planets move in and out of your 11th house, and when this happens, many changes and events occur in your life's friendship and community relations sector!

A Venus in the first House instead could tie in friendships strongly into our identity, in the second House they strongly need to align with our values and so on].

Most of your friends are met when going to art, yoga, or dance classes, as you love to connect with those who share a love for beauty and creativity. You are a reliable friend and love to share the luxuries and comforts of life with people you enjoy being around.
